Gosh as the days go by Matthew learns something new everyday. He
picked up scooting around 10 months and just recently has been able to
move around quiet quickly...Time to put up those baby gates! In the
midst of learning to get around and follow his brother, he has mastered
pulling himself up on the edge of something. He's not so sturdy yet
while standing, but he can get himself up that's all that matters, it's a
whole new world!
Isaiah on the other hand, almost
three and his vocabulary and understanding of things is blowing me
away. I had to share a little story of my cute boy...
As I
was tucking him into bed tonight, I asked him if he wanted to pray and
for once he said, "Yes!" So, I said, "Do you want to pray first or
second?" To which he replied, "First!" Surprise! He, in the sweetest,
softest voice said, "Thank you for God, Thank you for fishies, thank you
for mommy...Thank you for bring daddy home safely..." Then he said,
"Your turn mommy! But, you don't need to pray for daddy, I already
did!"
I continued with the bed time routine, pray,
singing some songs and scratch his back and say good night and when I
said, "Good night sleep tight." to him, he very softly whispered, "You
sleep tight too mommy!" Ugghhhhh, just melt my heart!!
